Chiropractic care is a hands-on, drug-free approach that may help with back pain, neck pain, headaches, stiffness, and movement limitations. A licensed Doctor of Chiropractic uses specific, controlled adjustments to help improve joint motion. At Prime Performance and Chiropractic 30A, your New Patient Examination helps us determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your needs.
When a joint loses normal motion, the surrounding tissues can become stiff, irritated, or tight. You may feel this as back pain, neck pain, or stiffness after sitting, lifting, driving, exercising, or sleeping.
An adjustment is a specific, controlled force applied to a joint to help improve motion. Before treatment, we assess posture, range of motion, and joint function. Your care is based on your exam, not a preset routine.
After an adjustment, some people notice relief, warmth, easier movement, a cavitation sound — the “click” — or mild soreness as the body adapts. These responses vary from person to person, and none are required for care to be effective. No result is guaranteed.
The “pop” some people hear during an adjustment is gas releasing from joint fluid. It is not bones cracking, and it is not a sign of injury. The sound is also not required for an adjustment. The goal is improved joint motion, not noise.
Long days at a desk, time in the car, lifting, exercise, and everyday stress can all affect how your body moves. Chiropractic care may help with musculoskeletal discomfort, joint stiffness, and restricted motion. It is not a treatment for every medical condition.
Active adults and athletes may benefit from care that supports mobility and helps address repetitive stress from sports and training.
Modern work life can create stiffness, fatigue, and tightness through the neck, shoulders, and upper back.
Family life, kids’ sports, lifting, and long days can change how the body loads and moves.
Aging with strength often means maintaining mobility as joints change over time.
If you are unsure whether chiropractic care is right for your symptoms, start with a New Patient Examination. Our care is conservative and drug-free, but it is not a replacement for emergency medical care.
Chiropractic care may help with:
Lower back pain, upper back pain, and neck pain — including stiffness after screens or driving
Headaches related to neck and upper-back tension
Sciatica-type symptoms that may relate to spinal and hip mechanics
Shoulder, hip, and other joint stiffness
Postural strain and reduced mobility
Chiropractic care is not a treatment for conditions such as cancer, heart disease, or uncontrolled medical illness. Those concerns belong with the appropriate medical team. If chiropractic care is not the right next step, we will tell you.
Your New Patient Examination is how we determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you.
